1. Commitment to Green Meetings.
Meeting rooms are equipped with recycling bins, energy-efficient digital signage, and linen-less stainless tables for coffee breaks, buffet and food stations. To reduce waste and assist a local cause, Le Westin Montreal donates unused food to La table des chefs, an organization that enlists local chefs to provide culinary and nutritional workshops in their community and provide sustenance to the less fortunate.
2. Location, Location, Location
Across the street from Le Palais de Congres, Montreal’s largest convention centre, this new 454-room hotel makes it easy for delegates to enjoy a morning jog along the cobblestone streets of Montreal’s Old Port, savour the tastes of the local restaurants and explore Montreal’s finest shops.
3. Massive Meeting Space with a View!
More than 40,000 sq. ft. of meeting space is primarily located on the hotel’s upper floors featuring 20-foot floor-to-ceiling windows. The hotel’s new eighth floor, La Grande Place, offers 16,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space and can accommodate 60 trade show booths. The hotel’s two large ballrooms can meet and feed over 500, or one large scale sit-down event for up to 800 guests. The ninth floor features a 1,500 sq. ft. open-air terrace that provides planners with a unique reception space.
Three dedicated high-speed elevators provide attendees privacy and convenience. Dedicated conference kitchens on the 9th and 11th floors ensure that group meals arrive promptly and at the ideal temperature. Le Westin’s banquet menu is inspired by cuisine served at gazette, featuring Quebec’s freshest local fare.
